CoPractice Community Connect. Support. Thrive.

Build your practice in a space where you’re seen, supported, and encouraged. It’s a place where personal growth and professional development go hand in hand, and community makes all the difference.

How the CoPractice Community Supports You

Designed to reduce isolation and strengthen sustainability, the CoPractice Community brings together business guidance, reflective practice, learning, and connection in a professional home beyond social media.

CoPractice includes a range of spaces, events and opportunities across business support, practice support, personal support, professional development and community connection. You can view examples of past events here, and follow us on social media to see upcoming events and announcements.

Business Support

Access CoStrategy sessions focused on marketing, websites, finance, accreditation and the practicalities of private practice. Led by experienced mentors and industry professionals, these structured conversations offer shared insight, practical guidance and space to think through business challenges alongside peers who understand the realities of the work.

Practice Support

Take part in CoWorking, CoReflection, Virtual Coffees, Facilitated Group Supervision and the Community Support area. These structured, reflective and informal spaces help reduce isolation, strengthen professional confidence and create opportunities for consultation, connection and peer support, including one-to-one and small group meet-ups.

Personal Support

Access CoSupport sessions, including dedicated spaces for marginalised and minoritised experiences, alongside sessions open to the wider community. Thoughtfully held and values-led, these spaces offer opportunities for connection, understanding and mutual support, recognising that practitioners bring their whole selves to both their work and community.

Professional Development

Develop your knowledge and skills through live workshops and access to our growing CPD library. Available within the CoPractice Community, these flexible and affordable learning opportunities are designed to support reflective practice, professional curiosity and ongoing development throughout the different stages of your counselling or psychotherapy career.

Find a Therapist or Supervisor

Take part in our managed referral service, designed to make the search process more straightforward for clients. Enquiries are shared anonymously within the community, allowing members with relevant experience and availability to respond. We then pass their details to the person making the enquiry, without recommending or endorsing individual practitioners.

Community Benefits

Access member-only benefits developed through partnerships within the CoPractice Community. As the community grows, we continue to explore opportunities that offer practical value and support members in running their practices more sustainably, while building collaborative relationships that reflect the needs and interests of counsellors and psychotherapists.

“I’ve loved being part of the Counsellors’ Staffroom. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I joined, but within a few weeks I’d set up a peer supervision group that’s still going strong! I’ve also really enjoyed dropping into the virtual networking sessions and meeting some lovely peers. Whether it’s having a rant, asking for advice, or bouncing around ideas about self-care and promoting private practice, there’s just so much valuable experience and knowledge to tap into. I always seem to find what I need, right when I need it—and I love the genuine sense of community it gives me.”

“As an online-only therapist, finding a community of peers has been really important to me. From the beginning, the Co-Practice Community has given me a space to network, to learn, and to be myself. I have benefitted from the connections I have made in many ways, and I intend to continue to be a member for years to come.”

“Counsellors’ Staffroom is a great platform for counsellors to connect, learn, and grow. I have found it to be an incredibly inclusive community and felt safe to engage on the platform due to its members-only access. The platform has something for every counsellor and therapist, at whatever stage they are in their career.”

“I have been a member of the Counsellors’ Staffroom for a year, and it has been one of the best decisions I have made for my practice, and for professional and personal support. The co-working spaces are invaluable for accountability and productivity. The networking and support spaces provide a real sense of community, in what can be a fairly lonely profession. There is space for laughter, tears, gentle challenge and growth, and it is all held in a way that supports a sense of safety. The sense of belonging is second to none.”

“There aren’t many places where we can come together with like-minded people facing the joys and challenges of this industry—this community does just that. I have gained so much from being a part of this and the Facebook page—thank you.”

“As a therapist with a number of marginalised identities, I have found a safe place in the CoPractice Community to get support as a professional and a person. It’s really helped me feel less isolated and more part of a collective as a therapist in private practice.”

“I joined the CoPractice Community to enjoy a space where I can network with colleagues and share referrals. I’ve only just joined, so I’m still exploring! But I’m finding the value exceptional, and I’m really looking forward to being able to connect with other therapists. I think this is a superb and very much needed opportunity for therapists who often feel isolated in private practice.”
